About Reverse Video Search

Reverse Video Search is an independent browser-based tool for finding where a video's frames appear on the web.

What the tool does

You upload a video from your device. The tool extracts a few frames locally in your browser, sends only those frames for web matching, and returns the public webpages that contain matching or similar imagery — together with the number of frames each page matched.

What the results are — and are not

Results are matching pages and possible sources. They may be the original video page, a repost, or a page quoting the footage. The tool does not verify who uploaded a video first and never labels a result as the verified original source.

Privacy approach

Your full video stays in your browser. Neither the video nor the extracted frames are stored: nothing is written to cloud storage, and frame data is discarded once the search completes. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
